I have finally gotten around to starting to write again. As an English Literature and Humanities major in University, I have been keeping notes, stories, and ideas for a spare moment to devote to writing since the beginning of the pandemic. The purpose of this blog will be to share my perspectives and experiences as a Family and Palliative care physician prior to and during the covid era in concert with my connection to the infinite mosaicism of the humanities. Additionally, expressing myself through writing will function as a therapeutic tool as I work toward regaining trust in the very system that helped make me the physician I am today. It can’t all be rotten.
As many of you may or may not be aware, my medical career has come to a grinding halt recently. March 17, 2022 the CPSO ordered my medical licence suspension. Unfortunately, I am one such doctor and my patients and community have been greatly impacted. At times, I will share information and updates on my legal situation here.
Stay tuned for my critical assessment of a recent CMAJ article…
